The basic cover does not compensate for any damages, which cannot be averted in spite of diligence, and it does not help, among other things, in case of &#8220;force majeure&#8221; (e.g. Accident caused by a third person, who cannot be punished, accidents due to black ice and other similar situations).<\/p>\n<p>We recommend concluding additional cargo insurance. By concluding removal cargo insurance, a value higher than the basic cover can be covered.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, if you have valuable removal goods, it is sensible to consider the conclusion of additional removal cargo insurance. Removal cargo insurance covers also the damages due to \u201cforce majeure\u201d, which are not covered by the basic cover.<\/p>\n<h4>These aspects should also be considered essentially for the insurance:<\/h4>\n<p>Electronic and technical devices, and also furniture and other household items depreciate very fast after purchasing. Many times, the <strong>current value<\/strong> is estimated incorrectly by the owner, and a very high value is assumed. In order to avoid the perceived high financial losses, it is recommended that the removal goods should be insured at <strong>replacement value<\/strong>. Thus, even in case of international removals, it should be also considered that in some cases, the replacement value in some countries can be considerably higher than that in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, it must be noted that the self-packed and stored goods can have a limited cover with the removal cargo insurance.
